Current Funding Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in WAM Foundation. Applications for our Fall 2024 funding round closed on November 22, 2024.

For current applicants:

  • Thank you for submitting a proposal as part of our Fall 2024 funding round. We received many excellent proposals. Current applicants should expect to find out the status of their application on the timeline specified in the application instructions. This timeline is as follows.

  • An update will be sent in January 2025, with final decisions expected in Q2 2025.

  • Our application system does not send automated confirmations of receipt. The confirmation page shown upon submission confirms that we have received your proposal.

For future applicants:

  • We expect another Call for Proposals later in 2025. Please join our mailing list to stay up-to-date.

Fall 2024 Funding Round: Priority and General Tracks

Closed November 22, 2024

  • Priority Areas: Road Safety, Nutrition and Mental Health (Closed Nov 22)

    In this round, WAM Foundation solicits proposals in the following priority areas which we believe to be underfunded: road safety, nutrition and mental health. Click for more information and to submit a proposal.

  • General Call: Programs and Research to Reduce Suffering (Closed Nov 22)

    WAM Foundation supports highly cost-effective research and programs which reduce suffering in developing countries. Click for more information and to submit a proposal.

  • Optional: Get Feedback First (Closed Nov 7)

    Prior to submitting a full proposal, we invite you to send us a brief statement about your work. We will reply within two weeks to let you know if the proposal is out of scope. This is entirely optional. (Take a look at our prior grants for an indication of our work to date.)

    This option closed on November 7.
